Got this for my daughter-in-law to give her a hands free way to carry my grandson. She absolutely loves it. It is comfortable for both of them. The only thing I would change on it would be to have a deeper sunshade since we live in AZ and sun exposure is an issue. A integrated diaper/supply pouch would be ideal as well. Other than those wishes this thing is perfect.I added and really recommend the addition of this helpful item as well. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RZZEBU8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1ProsComfyLightweightAdjustablePlenty of straps to secure baby inside seatKickstand holds carrier upright for loading and unloadingAmply padded everywhere the baby touches.Less Pro but not a Con:No diaper/supply pouchSunshade is not deepAnd as the attached picture attests: Yep, it's just that comfortable!

I bought this backpack for my son to sit in when we went on our trip to Taiwan. There isn't always enough room to push a large stroller around, especially when you are hiking, so I figured this would be a good investment. I tried it out before going on the trip and found that the backpack was very comfortable even with my son in it - he was ~22 lbs. There is a bit of a problem getting it on my back by myself though. I needed someone else to slightly lift it off the ground for me to comfortably get into the shoulder straps and lift it up to standing position, but after that you tighten the shoulder and waist strap so that the backpack sits flush with your back and everything was comfortable.

The backpack is pretty comfortable for my son in the carry position and even the floor position as a chair. The only problem I saw is when my son fell asleep in the backpack carrier, there was no support for hit neck and head. If I didn't notice that he fell asleep, his head would fall to the side or forward and bend his neck in a painful looking position. We bought an adult neck pillow and fitted it between my son and the rails of the backpack when he slept to correct this problem.

Overall, this was a great product for my purpose and I know others will find it useful too especially if you know you are going some place where a stroller just isn't going to work.

I was very hesitant to purchase this backpack carrier. My husband really wanted it for vacation and I thought it was a bit pricey for us to buy when we have a BOB Dualie double stroller. However, he convinced me to purchase this and we have used it a ton. Our little guy just turned a year and is right over the weight limit to be able to fit into it. He loves riding in it and it is so much easier than just carrying him around. We go to different parks and trails and even just walks around the neighborhood. When he goes with just my son he puts him in this carrier, or if my daughter will be walkin wherever we are going. If we are going somewhere like the zoo and are pretty sure my daughter will get tired of walking or need a nap we bring the stroller instead.
Pros:
1) You can put a child in and take them out alone.
2) It fits a wide range of weights, so both my son at 10 months and my daughter at 3.5 can ride in it comfortably.
3) It folds up rather small so is easy to store in the entryway closet or in the trunk of the car.
4) Our son has been able to fall asleep in it without any problems.
5) It is rather breathable so the child isn't swearing as bad as in the slings and other carriers I have.
Cons
1) The price is rather high if you won't use it much at all.
2) It hurts your back after carrying around a 30 pound child for awhile.

Based on the product description I bought this thinking there was a travel bag. There is no longer with this current model. I spoke to the company today and they are going to correct the online product description here. It is also uncomfortable and the instructions are confusing. It's also an overly complicated design. Bring back the Evenflo Trailblazer! Now THAT was a good, solid, easy to use baby backpack carrier with ample storage space.

For the money this is a good backpack. It is easy to put on and fits several of my kids from ages 3 to 8 months. Its light weight and folds up decently flat for truck or closet storage. I put it at 4 stars because the sternum strap doesn't adjust up or down, its sown onto the main straps. If you adjust the backpack so most of the weight is on your waist, depending on your size you might have to lengthen the main straps, this causes the sternum strap to get right up under your neck. I'm 5'11" just about average in all measurements so i never thought of myself as a "tall" person, but I'm taller than this was designed for. Also the good part the kids usually fall asleep in a few minutes, but its really hard to get them out without waking them up. The buckle releases are sort of deep inside of the "sitting" area so you end up feeling around them for a bit trying to get the buckles un-done and they usually wake up. Not the best design there. I kept mine and use it a few times a week, knowing what I know now, I might look closer at the details for my next one.

I bought this for my 2 year old so I can carry him on hikes. He LOVES his backpack! He can nap if he needs to and he is so comfortable. He can see around me if he wants to. He can lay his head on my upper back when he wants to rest. His legs are easy enough to support with my arms as I walk. I don't think I have to though. He seems quite comfortable regardless. After a couple of hours my shoulder muscles became sore, but that has more to do with my personal limits than quality of this product. I was even able to put him in and put it on without assistance. I was not able to put him on my back with the ergo carrier. I had to do front carry only. With this backpack, it is super easy to do it alone. I love this thing and anticipate many more hiking trips in the future!

This is a well made, quality backpack. I only gave it an "it's okay" 3 star rating because I was unable to adjust it enough to make it comfortable to wear. This could be user error, but no matter what adjustments I made, it hurt to wear after about 15 minutes. My son is about 20 lbs. I'm used to carrying him in his other carriers (Infantino front carrier and Moby wrap), but I wanted to have a backpack for hiking and other longer walks. He seemed to be very comfortable in this backpack. I wish I could have made it work for us! I ended up returning it.
