Got the 1500 w version... I noticed they lump all wattage reviews together. The unit is solid & pretty heavy. I am using it in my stealth conversion of my 6x15 cargo trailer. I'm running a 3.2cf fridge and some 1.2 w LED lights, as well as a typical box fan and a Fantastic Vent Fan. Here's my usage & battery results: Overnight I have the fridge plugged in, box fan & Fantastic Fan on... Run time is about 6 hours. This runs the 2 Energizer 27DC batteries from 100% down to about 50%.The inverter runs quiet and comes with great looking, heavy duty equipment. and has convenient mounting feet. I mounted mine vertical near my batteries and put a vent right next to it for ventilation. Wow. This inverter is outstanding. This thing comes with everything you need to get it to work. The cables are already assembled for you, including the fuse, and they are 2 gauge cables (1500w-2000w). All you have to do is attach the cables to the back of the unit, and then attach the cables to your battery (positive red, then negative black). Keep in mind that this only comes with 3 feet of cable. I installed this in my Volvo 670 Semi Truck to use with a microwave and TV. It fits perfectly behind the driver seat on the cabinet.No modifications needed. If you are installing this in a car or RV, you may need longer cables.Works great! It's quiet. Master switch on the back is nice, power switch on the front. Even comes with a remote power switch via some type of phone cord.

There is only one thing I have noticed that needs improvement. The blue display is very bright which makes it hard to read volts in use, etc. It's bright enough to bring a glow to your otherwise blacked out sleeper. I remedy this by turning the power off when not in use. If you will be using this to provide continuous power such as a refrigerator and can't turn off the power, I suggest applying a piece of window tinting or such over the display to dim it.

Charged 2 phone and ran a DVD player and a radio at one time no problems. ******unit was delivered fast but unfortunately was damaged from shipping****** called manufacturers and they were great !!!!!!!! Another unit sent out fast !!!!!! The only thing was the unit comes with 2 3ft cables. The unit will take up to12 ft of 2 gage I don't know of to many applications where a unit can be mounted 3 ft away free m a battery. If they added longer cable I would have payed extra for it. But over all great product plus it tells you the state of the battery

Unfortunately, I happened to get a lemon. I ordered this in August 2016, but it stopped working in November of 2016 (that's less than 90 days).It started blowing out a lot of smoke after getting too hot for reasons I still do not understand. The device did shut off power to my equipment, so nothing else was damaged, but it looked really bad because I did not hear the alarm going off for a while.

The reason I'm giving this 5 stars is for four reasons. First, the customer support was really great. They made sure I was back up and running in short order after contacting them about the problem (they sent me a replacement). This is very rare these days. Second, the inverter comes with cables, a high amperage fuse, and a remote shutoff switch, which I think most people need unless they are just looking to replace an older inverter, but the cable set is still work the extra money. Third, this is a good, solid made inverter. Yes, I got a lemon. Customer service thought a capacitor blew, but I've had computer motherboards with high-end military-grade capacitors that lasted even less time for the same reason. There's only so much you can expect out of electronics that are using a lot of parts like these things.Finally, I've had other inverters that never lived up to their power rating. This one appears to be able to deliver 1500W, though I usually only run maybe 350W at most on it.

Great warranty they exchange new after 1 day. Im using inverter alot. I didnt use it since i got it, im using mastercarft canadian tire brand 3000w.
