Publisher's summary

Wyoming rancher Quinn McKay thought he'd only have to bide time until his level-headed wife came to her senses and called a halt to this "trial separation". He never believed the marital rough patch would drag on for a coon's age. Libby McKay knew when she married the gruff, laid-back cowboy that he wasn’t prone to blathering about his feelings. But three months have passed and her stubborn-as-a-mule husband is still living by himself in the horse trailer. It seems he’d rather hold on to his pride than hold on to her. Quinn realizes Libby is determined to move on if he doesn't loosen his tongue and he’ll lose the only woman he's ever loved. In a last-ditch effort to keep her in his life, he offers her one weekend of uninterrupted sexual decadence. Reigniting the passion is easy. The hard part comes after the sheets have cooled and they find out if what remains is strong enough to survive past mistakes.

I Want More! This Was Too Short But I Loved It

What made the experience of listening to Strong, Silent Type the most enjoyable?

I love this series and Strong, Silent Type is no exception. I love that Quinn McKay realizes the value of his marriage and the quick and sexy he tries to win his estranged wife. Libby doesn't make it easy and one minute you know they will reconcile and the next it seems they won't. Will they? Won't they? I'll never tell!

As I've said before, this series is my guilty pleasure. I love each book and I find it growing on me more with each book. Hot, cowboys, ranch life and sex.

What other book might you compare Strong, Silent Type to and why?

Any in the Rough Rider or Black Top Cowboys series by Lorelei Jame. Also, Six Pack Ranch by Vivian Arend Chase Brothers series by Lauren Dane

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

She's done the whole series. I wish she had more of a range but she does a fair job. I speed it up to 1.25x and it is better.

Rejuvenating a stale marriage

Well done story about a couple who have had problems getting pregnant. They are not talking to each other and need something to spice things up

I don't normally like novella's but since I already knew the family details this one didn't have that lost feeling I usually have after a novella. This is a great story of a Husband and Wife finding their way back to each other. It was sweet and hot and left me feeling happy for Quinn & Libby. I hope to see more of them in other books.

The narration was ok, again just wish they had accents. I know I sound like a broken record.

Libby and Quinn McKays reconciliation story

Ok story with some hot scenes but very predictable and short. Could have been added to another book. Narration was ok for Libby but not very good for Quinn. It really needed dual narration.
