They got straight into the game and were able to pick up the controls easily, we felt a little bit left out watching them as we quickly realised it was a little bit like a child friendly version of Grand Theft Auto. Essentially you start off as Chase McCain who is a police officer and you receive calls to give you missions to complete, you are able to roam freely around the City and just like GTA you are able to ‘borrow’ cars from people and follow maps to get to your destination. The game is divided into Chapters and you take on various disguises to complete missions, as with other games you also collect studs and bricks to earn different rewards in the game. The fact that it is a free world to explore means that the game can go on for as long as you want and to achieve all of the goals/find all of the bricks will definitely take a while so it is great value for money. The characters are all really child friendly and our children recognise some of the minifigures from their sets which they were impressed with!
We actually felt like we were missing out on the game so started our own game that we play after they’ve gone to bed!
