"WW2: Sandbox. Strategy & Tactics may be just the thing for you; especially if you are a fan of Hearts of Iron or Axis & Allies" - mobiletechreview.com

Sandbox is the unlimited sequel to our Strategy & Tactics: World War II. We've abandoned historical restrictions and turn limits making your task deceptively simple - take command of any European army and lead it to victory in World War 2.

You can recreate the actual politics of the era - or not. For instance, as Great Britain you could side with the USSR to crush Germany - or you could disable the historical alliances and lead America to conquer Europe...

Random events like guerrilla movements, landing operations, and voluntary recalls will ensure endless replayability and the uniqueness of each game session. You’ll be making your own history!
WW2: Sandbox. Strategy & Tactics – war is coming!

Game Features:
- Accurate maps of Europe and Asia with over 950 regions
- 4 types of ship: Battleship, Cruiser, Submarine, Destroyer
- 39 playable countries
- Will you use infantry, aircraft, artillery, and armored vehicles? You choose how to bring the enemy to their knees!
- You decide how to spend the resources from the conquered territories: will you grow your army or boost R&D?

Great game if you like developing and using different tactics

I’m giving this game 4 stars because it is honestly a great game. You can play as any country during WW2 on both the European and Asian front, and it’s really up to you how you play.

You basically just have to develop really quickly. You can choose between spawning a various amount of troops, planes, ships, sneak attack airborne threats which are elite soldiers (nice as hell), or you can improve technology for these troops.

The larger countries are easier just because you have more to work with and some come with advantage (such as USSR not having to worry about flanks or the Germans ability to conquer quickly and with relative ease). YOU CAN WIN WITH SMALLER COUNTRIES! Finland it a huge example because stopping the USSR is a slim chance but it can be done. Like I said, you have to play to your surroundings.

I really wish this game was multiplayer. The AI does present a challenge but if you know what you’re doing you can manipulate it ofc and playing against other people is so much fun.

Game doesn’t take long to learn but wars can last like 2-3 hours, more or less depending on the objective and how much you want to conquer.

I’m gonna wrap it up here. If you are looking for a war game I’d definitely consider checking this out!

Very fun, endless possibilities

This game is very in-depth and the visuals and GUI are very informative without being distracting or obtrusive. I could seriously play it for hours.

The goal of the sandbox is to complete the objective of your choosing. There's a lot of units at your disposal and all the space in the map that you need. Bait your opponent with seemingly vulnerable infantry and once they come forth, encircle them with jeeps, bombard them from the air or sea and send your tanks in to finish the job.

However, there are some issues. There's no online multiplayer, alliances cannot be configured during a battle, and playing the game on battery is a very bad idea due to how quickly it would drain. Music's pretty good although I would like more tracks from the WWII game included in this one. The last patch seemed to fix any instability or crashes.

Suggestions

Great game and recommend but I have some suggestions like in Europe there could be different scenarios like starting in 1939 or 1941. Also you could add diplomacy so we don’t start out the game neutral nations in world war 2 like Sweden and the Swiss. In Asia jest have different start date like 1942 or 1945 so ya that’s it
Edit: Hey developers if you end up reading this I would just like to ask you 1 question When is strategy and tactics 2 coming out on iOS? Also thanks for using some of my suggestions in the new game :)

Developer Response ,

Hi! The game has some limitations, so we can't add all of the countries and cities. If there will be a new similar game, we will try to add it. :)
