Hillbilly Rockstar is Book 6 of the Blacktop Cowboys series by Lorelei James. I've read most books in the series but not all and none of them in the "correct" order. These stories stand alone just fine so no worries if you end skipping around like me. This story drew me in right from the start and didn't let go. Great interactions and chemistry between Devin and Liberty. I enjoyed the premise of Liberty as Devin's body guard. She was one tough cookie. Very enjoyable and one I definitely recommend.

Hillbilly Rockstar was an alright read, although it was for the most part cheesy, I couldn't quite get into the rock hard body super body guard female and the overly sensitive male pining for her love thing, the sex was decent and the story overall wasn't too bad. I didn't feel that zing when the characters meet and couldn't seem to understand how the two really meshed together but opposites attract in this one. Hillbilly Rockstar is well written and decent enough to get into when you're looking for the role reversal relationship in western contemporary romance.
